When to goJune through September on the water. The ice caves are a winter thing and not every winter.
What fitsUp to 40 feet. Plenty of room to park and enough hookups that a trailer makes sense.
What catches people outBayfield is the base. Everything on the islands needs a boat, so build the days around the ferry.
