Badlands in an RV
Striped rock layers eroded into ridges and spires, with bison and bighorn on the grassland between them. Most people give it 2 days.
When to goMay through October. Spring and fall beat a South Dakota summer.
What fitsUp to 40 feet. Plenty of room to park and enough hookups that a trailer makes sense.
What catches people outCedar Pass has hookups. Sage Creek is free, first come and gravel, and the bison walk through it.
