Grand Canyon South Rim in an RV
The rim you have seen in photographs, open all year, with a mile of air under the railing. Most people give it 3 days.
When to goAll year. Summer is hot on the rim and brutal below it. Spring and fall are the good months.
What fitsUp to 40 feet. Plenty of room to park and enough hookups that a trailer makes sense.
What catches people outTrailer Village is the only hookup campground on the rim. Desert View is first come and closes in winter.
