The Mendocino Coast in an RV
Headlands, redwoods behind them, and a coast road with almost nothing built on it. This is where we are. Most people give it 4 days.
When to goAll year. Summer fog burns off by afternoon and September is the clearest month.
What fitsUp to 35 feet. Loop roads in the park are narrow, the turns are tight and most sites are cut for something short.
What catches people outHighway 1 north of Fort Bragg is slow and narrow. Van Damme and Russian Gulch are the two to book first.
Where you would actually stay
Picked for the trip rather than a list somebody was paid to be on. Anything with a link books direct with them, and we will do it for you if you would rather not spend the evening on hold.
