Rocky Mountain in an RV
Sixty peaks over twelve thousand feet and a paved road that climbs above the treeline on all of them. Most people give it 4 days.
When to goJune through September. Trail Ridge Road closes with the first real snow.
What fitsUp to 30 feet. Loop roads in the park are narrow, the turns are tight and most sites are cut for something short.
What catches people outTimed entry permits run most of the summer and they are separate from your campground booking.
Where you would actually stay
Picked for the trip rather than a list somebody was paid to be on. Anything with a link books direct with them, and we will do it for you if you would rather not spend the evening on hold.
