Lake Perris is twenty minutes away, which is the point

The closest site we deliver to, and the one we tell first time renters to book. If something goes wrong we are there before you have the awning out.

Twenty five minutes from the yard

Twenty five miles, about thirty minutes, all of it on roads you already drive. There is no grade, no canyon and nothing that needs planning.

That proximity is the feature. A first RV trip has a learning curve and it is much smaller when the people who prepped the unit are half an hour away.

The loops are not the same

The upper loops have water and power at the site and flat paved pads. The lower loops are dry, and they are the ones close to the water.

Pick the upper loops for a first trip. You can walk down to the lake in five minutes and you get to plug in at the end of the day.

Summer is hot and busy at the same time

July and August bring both the heat and the crowds. Weekends book out and the afternoons run into the high nineties.

Late September through May is quieter and far more comfortable. A weekday in October you will have most of a loop to yourself.

There is more here than the water

Nine miles of paved trail around the shoreline, a rock climbing area at Big Rock and a swim beach with real sand. The fishing is decent and the ranger programs are good with kids.

It works as a weekend without ever getting in the car once you are parked.

The practice run nobody regrets

If a longer trip is the plan for later in the year, do one night here first. You find out what you forgot, what you never needed and how everything actually works.

Nothing you learn the hard way here costs more than a short drive home.

What we would send you out in

Anything in the yard works. The roads are wide and the pads are flat, so length is not the constraint it is elsewhere.

This is the one to take the bigger unit to if you want the space, because the parking is the easiest we deliver to.
